The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) is seeking to identify interested, non-partisan Community Based Organizations to facilitate community meetings for the Vote Center Placement Project (VCPP). The purpose of these meetings is to engage the public in the selection of Los Angeles County's vote centers as well as raise awareness of the County's Voting Solutions for All People (VSAP) Project. LA County will implement a new voting experience through vote centers and a modernized voting system developed by the County for our voters. Voters can cast their ballot at any vote center throughout the County over an 11-day voting period.

  • - Facilitate meetings
  • - Present content about the new voting experience
  • - Conduct various forms of outreach to ensure meeting attendance
  • - Select venues and arrange meeting logistics
  • - Set-up and break down meeting venue
  • - Customize and print outreach materials
  • - Record meeting notes and/or outcomes, gather sign-in sheets, take photos and provide other summary materials

The RR/CC will require that selected partners attend a mandatory training on March 19, 2019 at Los Angeles River Center and Gardens (570 West Avenue 26, Los Angeles, CA 90065) from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
